hey i didnt know what section this was suppost to go in but could someone help me?
Ok anyway i want to connect to a desktop running windows xp home edition off of a laptop running windows vista home premium. I dont have to use remote desktop connection but i either need a program thats free and can do this or a way to configure remote desktop connection to do this for me. if you have any suggestions or help please help me out. |

There are other software similar though, like VNC. And if you google a bit, you'll probably find more.

yeah your right it should be in trash talk but anyway i did google and VNC the one i needed i had to pay for so im found another one which is TIGHTVNC for future refernce you can say that one because it is free. im just saying but thanks for your help |

I don't know tightvnc but you should also consider UltraVNC. It's also "free" and last time I used it I was pretty happy with it.
(My favourite is RAdmin as a replacement for Windows Remote Desktop though but it isn't free.) _________________

ive tried a few, and settled on ultravnc.
