Anyone know of someone who allows MYSQL external connections? Any hosting company that some of you use that allow this would be great. Thanks

Maybe hire/buy a VPS and set the MySQL database to allow an external connection? I don't think any hosting compony only sells MySQL databases for rent.

I recently seen that the prices on www.vpslink.com are quite sharp, I have a VPS from www.vircon.nl myself.

(Not for external mysql connections but it may come in handy one day I guess.)

My webhost, Pylon Hosting, allows external access (as most cPanel hosts do), though I'm having trouble with it right now.
