I think so. Brits almost never end a word with "ize", it's usually "ise".

Eh, d1s, it's the same language construct, just with inconsistent spelling. English is very inconsistent, it sucks.

Apparently newb won't. And you'd be surprised how many people in Europe won't accept dollars, and they're the most America-friendly continent other than ours.

Both. Of course, if you say "Here's $500 million. Take it or leave it." I sincerely doubt that anyone would refuse it. But that holds true with just about any currency.
