No idea, probably nowhere available for free, nor in trial version.
Learn to use notepad, that's more powerful than frontpage. |

I'm sure MS has a copy of a trial on their website. I use Dreamweaver by Macromedia, and it's pretty sweet. I saw my one professor teaching frontpage - i wanted to jump in there and just freak out. lol. I've just tired of typing everything by hand in notepad .. been there done that, time to move on. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

| Word can save to html if you have that. Also doesn't a lite version of frontpage come with the operating system? Maybe you can try add/remove programs windows components or something. |

Just don't crack it, like SuSE did.
It is nice, yes.
Learning how to make a website using your own HTML would be a lot better than using frontpage or anything else. |

Yeah, its generally better to learn HTML first hand so you know exactly how your page works...
But the nice thing about WYSIWYG editors, is most of them (assuming theyre up to date) will generate code that conforms to standards -- which is something I still dont do without spending extra time with w3c's validator. |

Word saves the most awful "html" I've ever seen. Instead of using proper tags, it uses <span> with all sorts of crappy CSS to emulate them. _________________ This help is informational only. ...there are other programs that are so much easier to use than Frontpage you know, Assassin.
By the way, Microsoft won't let you have it for free, or on trial. You have to buy it.
Tell me, do you have £600 to pay for the whole package? |

Most do, Frontpage DOESN'T.
As Cyan~Fire said, Frontpage makes horrible code. Your page slows down at least 3 times with normal HTML due to size and complexity.
Learn Dreamweaver, step away from Microsoft while you still can. Really, that is true - frontpage sucks _________________

| HTML and CSS are the simplest things. WYSIWYG (WYSINWYG, to be accurate) editors only slow the development process down. They are only useful for creating good web pages if you know the languages anyway; clueless users end up making crap. |

sooo much agreed to that, html can't be more easier. Still if you can choose, choose for XHTML instead of HTML so all pages look the same in all browsers. |

| That's still not true. Different browsers have different CSS support. |
