This doesn't actually concern the file, but rather, the energy itself. Can I change the three colors of energy?

|-red-|-yellow-|-----blue-----|

to

|-ddr-|----dr---|------red-----|

ddr= deep deep red
dr= deep red

As always, thanks, in advance!

I kind of wanted to say the gradient file, but then I found the color file. What's the difference and what does each do?

In a hurry! TIA!

huh..... neato... and here I thought you had to put a lvz image in to get a background color other than black. Here's the thing about that. If I wanted say a solid blue backgroud, I'd change row0 of colors.bm2 to blue. That I understand. Wiill the stars still appear? If so, how would I get rid of them? LVZ'ing in files with the same names as the stars but empty pictures?

I believe you can turn off stars via the Client-side in Options.

Correct, you can shut off stars from the Continuum settings; but if you're trying to force everyone not to have stars :/...

So then, the method I suggested would be correct...

Yes.

However, the pixel-stars will stay on, since they are not graphics and can only be turned off throught the user options.

Hmmm, so you couldn't just change the color of these pixel-stars to match your background?

I (as in Cyan~Fire) wrote:
they are not graphics

They can't change color. They're random points of light generated by Continuum.

I ask too much? I've been back for a week!

Anyhow, with all do respect to our "Estonian hacker," was he not aware of the stretchiness of Continuum? Did he not know that the games could be varied indefinately and to such extent that they have no real relation to "Subspace"? Had he have known this, shouldn't he have made the "random points of light generated by Continuum" server-side and not client-side?

I'll stop rambling now... but I thought I'd ask that... so that everyone hates me.... new_let_it_all_out.gif new_let_it_all_out.gif

he just doesn't care much about Continuum anymore or isn't a perfectionist

it is much improved since SubSpace, though, so we shouldn't complain too much sa_tongue.gif

Oh I must have missed that explanation with one of my semi-vists that destroyed the new post thingies.

Katherine isn't a bad name. And I think that even after having a sister with that name. icon_razz.gif
