A zone based in BC, canada is down for me, but not for others...I live in Indiana, and other people live farther away from the server and stll connect. It says it ISNT down in when I d/l the zone list, but then it goes red once I click ok. This is the only zone that is down for me and I don't know why, can someone help?

Could you post a trace log to the server?

You can trace a zone's server by selecting it in Continuum's main window, then click "Trace".

The trace shows you which hosts in the connection to the server are used, and it shows some information for every hop (router) there.

Let the trace run for a few cycles, eventually it should show you where the bad hops are.
It should be possible to see where the problem is, if it's at your side you could fix it, otherwise there's not much you can do about it.

This is the beauty of the internet. It is flexable, in which if a big backbone dies, it doesn't take the whole internet down. Give it time, and either that backbone will be fixed, or a router along the way will reroute the packets another path to get to where it is needed.

If you want to see the technical path, post the log of your Continuum trace, and we'll help explain parts of what died.

Sounds like your ISP maybe blocking that IP completely. Try going to your command prompt, and typing tracert XX.XX.XX.XX, but use that zone's IP address instead. To get a zone's IP address, right-click on the zone's name.

Same thing:

1 * * * Request timed out
2 * * * Request timed out
3 * * * Request timed out
4 * * * Request timed out
