Allright here is a tricky deal for someone to fix.
Ok I changed ports many time to try to eliminate this problem but it seems to come back to haunt me.
I run both things subbill and subgame2 and it works fine and debugging goes but when it says attempting to connect to billing server it just says that over and over like 5 time then says error:cannot connect to billing serve then puts my zone online in a stand-alone mode how do I get it connected to billings server? |

Look in server.ini, for the section called billing.
Change the ip to 127.0.0.1 and the port to 4001. Also, change the bilingpassword to something like "moo"
Now look in the biller's ini file. Change its port to 4001 and BillingPasword to "moo"
Essentially, make sure the server.ini [billing] sections match all of the billing.ini's sections. _________________ There are no stupid question, but there are many inquisitive idiots.

Is it safe for my part to post my stuff on here if I need to?
Doesn't seem something I should trust to just anyone. |

When you copy/paste it into

sections, delete/edit the lines that contain your zone's passwords for sysop/smod/mod/vip. Leave in the [Billing] section's password. The Directory password doesn't mean anything, so can leave that in too.
For your subbill.ini, just edit out the Sysop password in there. |
