I dont understand why my warbird cant fire. I am trying to make it fire an L3 (blue) bullet but it wont fire. The Fire button doesnt even work for stopping the Warbird in safes. Why?
I have attached my .CFG File.

Perhaps, fire delay is long? Maybe bullets cost more than the amounted energy after a bullet is fired, w/ too slow of a recharge? these are just initial thoughts off the top of my head, haven't looked at your cfg. _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling

OK. Remember that BulletFireEnergyUpgrade is also factored into the fire cost. Therefore, your total firing energy is 1000, which is equal to your ship's InitialEnergy. I'm not sure if the game makes that possible. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. ok. Thanks. I knew it was something like that. Just couldnt remember it.
In my .cfg I have searched for BulletFireEnergyUpgrade but I cant find it. Is the firecost calculated like if the fire cost is 500 for an L1 bullet, then for and L2 it would be 1000 and for an L3 bullet it would be 1500?

| Would it be the same for bomb and bullet? If not then does anyone know what the formula is?

there is a bullet fire energy upgrade only it was always builtin and done automatically and never exposed to the settings
i believe the formula is a simple doubling of the starting energy requirement per stage (IE 100 - l1gun, 200 - l2 gun, 300 - l3gun) or maybe it was 1.5 factor multiplying but i could be wrong though as i dont quite recall

| yes its the base value of bulletfireenergy multiplied by the gun level for the actual energy consumption i just verified it
