that or its the subgame2... not sure which one locks up but still why would my server lock up and go down if someone dies?

Weird, you may want to check out a server cfg checker and see if there are any potential conflicting settings :/ if that doesnt work, create a new instance of subgame/subbill and SLOWLY re-implement (don't copy and paste over files blindly); test check validate etc etc.

I think there was some problems like that a while ago in subarenas where developers fucked up the settings, which caused server to recycle when someone got killed.

Not sure if you should check MaxPlaying / MaxPlayers or some setting like that. The problem was in those settings.

Check your deathprize settings...
Usually happens to me when server tries to spawn a deathprize but all prizeweight is 0.

Also, [Prize] DeathPrizeTime cannot be 0.
