reel bad (name taken lol) · Guest Offline

I like this new board, but I can't log in! I registered the name "reel bad" (space and all) with an 8-char password, but when I enter these in the login screen, it says invalid password. Capslock is off. I've had my password and username sent to me and have copied and pasted them, but still to no avail. Is there something wrong with having a space in my name? I've tried replacing the space with random chars like _, %20, and -, as well as leaving it out (reelbad) but nothing works. When I try o log in, every single time, it says "You have specified an incorrect or inactive username or an invalid password." Also, what's with the pages taking 5 or 10 seconds to start loading? Not load, 5 or 10 seconds to start getting data back? Anyone else have this problem? It didn't occur before phpBB was put up.

It worked fine for me, but I regestered serveral days ago.

I will try creating a dummy account and see if it works.

[EDIT] Spaces work fine, just look at my name.

I have no idea why it did that. Three names in random locations had their account inactive. I have no scripts or anything going to deactivate people, so i can't see why it would do that. I just hardcoded it so that the valid shouldn't ever change from 1 now.

woohoo works now. and the 5 to 10 second lag, yeah, that was my isp sucking it up. don't know why it only happened on this site though...
