Wow thats halarious and will never happen lol. Fast food franchises make WAY too much money to be banned.

You'd have to kill all the fat people before you could ban fastfood. I personally hate fast food.

Fast food is pretty much like alcohol: it affects driving, can be addicting, and is bad for the liver(among other health effects worse than alcohol's).

You do realize that all this trans-fatty acid crap everyone is talking about will just lead to a new thing that people will abuse and be just as bad for us. We went from sugar to fake-sugar, which a good bit of people turned out to have some type of reaction to it and there have been a couple of studies that it might be worse for you. We went from a lard-food loving people (early 1900's) into one with fake-lard thats full of worse things, but a bit less fat.

How long until we find out that a large intake of sunflower oils (a common replacement oil) cause some other health issue? Any of you ever try real sugar soda? Potatoes freshly peeled and cook in good ol' lard? Hell, anything cooked in large amounts of lard? And it seems that some people are switching back to lard. Give Gibble's Potato Chips a try if you leave in the eastern part of the US (located in Chambersburg, PA). I don't know of any other local chains that still do lard chips, as that place is only 30 minutes from where I used to live.

Why ban cigarette smoking? why ban alcohol? drugs? books? anything?

The American Government apparently feels that they must protect its citizens from their own stupidity. Usually with good reason, too. Traditionally when something is becoming a problem within the public(crack ghettoes, alcoholism, mexicans, rock and roll), a remedy is on the agenda.

My Point:
Confess is right purge: you're a fatty and the government hates you for it.

Yep, we are all so fat and lazy that our GNP dominates most countries...

Seriously though, this is like when they tried to say red meat is bad for you. WTF? We don't know the long term effects of anything artificial, so natural food stuff is usually a pretty safe move.

just let people eat what they like.

the important thing is clear labeling. If you know something is bad for you and you eat it anyway thats your choice. If you wanna eat lots of fast food and get really fat you should be allowed to.

Sure its fun to play with some chics at the beach, or something like that, but 6 years? I played on a team in 8th grade to raise my grades, but thats about it lol..

Chambahs, why would you join a sport to raise your grades? And yes, 6 years. I've played both recreationally and on school/community teams, which included both outdoor 2vs2, 3vs3, and indoor 6vs6 games.

I joined it because my science teacher was the coach and they needed 1 more person for the team, she said if i played she would raise my grade. One hand washes the other..
