I have a Socket 754 motherboard with an old Duron in it. I'd like to upgrade to the Athlon 64 3000+, but someone on newegg said it has a "single-channel memory controller". Now I have a dual-channel motherboard (also why I don't want to upgrade to socket 939), and I thought all CPUs "support" dual-channel RAM and it's just a north bridge thing.
