Again I thank everyone for positive feedback. And yes I'm starting to generate some pop... I don't expect everyone in SS to come flooding over, but I do expect people to visit and enjoy, and re-visit again. I am putting alot of work into this zone, and freely accept any suggestions that would make game play more enjoyable.

2 points I'd like to through out for thought:

1. It's been suggested that I shrink the map size a bit, however at the time the majority said it was ok. Visit the zone, play a bit and see what you think. It seems when you have about 6 pop or more that the current size is ok, but what do you think?

2. Buying anytime.... I have turned on safe zone buying only, and increased the greens to compensate. I'd like some feedback on this. What is better: a. few greens but buy at anytime, or b. lots of greens but only safe zone buying?

Now some updates:
Bullets are are now very colorful arrows/sitimars/swords/battle Axe...
Ship settings are better, and more true to the game. Also, I'm trying to centre the one of the bomb images but it didn't work...

BTW spyed, you person makes a big difference. 99 +1 = 100. Most people wont care if I have 99, but If they see 100 they'll take note.

So really care about even one person...

If you know anything about math you'll soon realize that one is a very BIG number!!!

Updates:

1. I didn't get the promised CTF event up. SORRY

2. I have a new staff member (DF>dragon~) who is helping make a custom tile set, and a mock 3d map.
3. We have a 1/4 complete map up at ?go 3D from my public arena. If you check it out you'll have to change freqs to get out of the initiall spawn area.
4. We are working on a new look, and a map that is more true to the game. I got the game maps and pieced them together so I could put some of the main and bigger buildings in the map, rather than just something that 'sorta, kinda' looks like the game.

Updates:

I finally have the 3D.lvl map (?go 3D) about 1/3 done. (There are three sections...)

The Castle, Town and Siege area's are basically completed, minus the lvz files are still in the wrong place due to the fact I didn't create a new .cfg file for the subarena. Didn't see any point as I'm only going to remove the public arena and replace it with the new semi 3D arena....

Anyway I've been getting some good comments about the new level, check it out and see what you think so far.

BTW, I'm sorry none of the warp areas for the 3D.lvl map are configured yet.

That depends on the time you go in....

For example: I live in Newfoundland so we are -3:30 GMT so we are about the first people to get out of school, and for people who live in Manitoba the are about 3.5 hours behind us, and it's 6:00pm my time before they get home from school, and on it goes. There is usually more people on in the evenings, but during the day, not many. I'm off and on during the day, but I work so that limits my time during the day.

First, thanks Mav for the link. Although I've had 9 players on my zone, I'm not sure why it says max 7, but I just looked briefly. Anyway to everyone else the times desplayed on the above link are when we have most people.

Second, I uploaded a temporary ship set: XODOS10, there was a link to the website for this shipset in the misc. apps forum. Anyway I thought it was cool. I'll use it until I get a good kool looking character ship set....

Update:

1. Pop is getting much better. Even with 6 to 8 on the zone it is making for a very fun game. Drop by sometime.

2. I've tweeked the ship settings a little. (And I mean a little)

3. I've upped the prices alot, as it is very easy to get points.

4. I've reverted back to a safe only store. (Sorry)

5. However, I've upped the greens quite a bit. so you can upgrade quickly by greening.

Sounds like a good zone kamodo. I'll stop by once my ISP changes. Right now, I'm in the process of yet another move, so it won't be till probably next week.

For this update I have some bad news: Something is wrong with my biller/server. Listzone on the server shows that it is running, but in the game console it comes up red, and you can't connect. We don't know what is going on, but we are looking for a solution.

If anyone has ever encountered this before and found a solution, please let us know! I don't want to have to close the zone down. I've put too much work into it, to just have to abandon it on the side of the galaxy!

For good news, my wife will be having a baby any day! Hopefully sooner than later!
