I've set up another zone on my server, but for some reason I cannot get this one to show up on the zone download list. It's there, and other people can get to it by manually entering the IP, but it's not automatically listed. As far as I can tell it's set up in exactly the same way as all of my other zones; I'm forwarding the router ports, unblocked the port and the program in the XP firewall, it's finding the biller and doing everything else correctly. Is there anything else I should be checking?
It's 24.58.82.63:13004, if you want to see for yourself.
I'm baffled at this one.. _________________

the directory server needs to add the zone to its list. Maybe the password conflicts with another zone, maybe some ports are blocked. Anyway, note that it might take some time too. _________________

I'm not sure what you mean .. it has the same biller and therefore the same billing password as all my other zones.
As to the ports being blocked, that looks to be the same as the others as well. I have the correct instance of subgame in the XP Firewall exception list, as well as the specific port in both the firewall exceptaions and being forwarded by the router.
On a possibly related note, I am having trouble downloading zones at all lately. Half the time the zone list download times out from one server or another, for the past few days. Is anyone else experiencing that, or is something else incorrectly configured on my computer? Just thinking that might be somehow tied in to the problem I'm having with my zone..

well this is a wierd way but when that happens to me I copy the [Directory] section from the zone that will show on the list and paste it into the server.ini for the server that will not show, im not sure if this will work for you but it has worked for me every time.

I guess Screen's right here, make sure the directory server hostnames are correct and match those in the client (Continuum).

You sure Directory:NamePassword matches up? _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Does that really matter? Worked for me when I had different namepasswords.

I doubt it'd be a protection of the directory servers so people can't flood them with fake entries or something since there are more people who do the same as what you're trying now.
Just like the others, I can't find anything wrong in your setups, maybe try running another one from scratch, then start changing settings and keep checking if it still works at some points?

I figured this one out, if you're curious .. I had port 13004 instead of 13304 open in the windows firewall. It's right there in the picture, but I didn't even notice (nor did anyone else). Anyway, thanks for the help on this .. but I have another problem now *sigh* (starting new thread)
