If i remember correctly, Grelminar is waiting for the following things:
1) Most of the features (that he wants) from Subgame copied over into ASSS. This is mostly done, just need a few security checks, the lag kickers/specs need tested, etc.
2) Support Continuum's encryption. This is out of his hands. Currently, he has some of it i believe, but not all. Or if priitk did give him all of it, it is not supported yet. I will guess on it currently being the former.
In other words, WID. |

Actually, the lag actions are done for now, until someone complains that they want more settings (there are something like 15 already).
There are missing features (koth comes to mind first), but those won't necessarily hold up a release.
The cont encryption stuff is a little complicated. PriitK helped me out a bit, and it's now just about as secure as subgame (I say 'just about' because it doesn't refresh the scrty1 file as often). What it's doing now isn't a good long-term solution, though. There's a better idea, and it'll be in the next cont release (I hope), but I don't think that's a good reason to hold up my own release either, especially since the source to the cont encryption module won't ever be released anyway.
Regarding the rest of the source, I can probably just release it with the next public binary release. I don't have a specific list of things I want to get done before then, but I might try to get something out by the end of the week. |

Is/will there be complications with the server connecting to BanG and catid's subbill? |

Currently the billing connection system is going through a complete rewrite. In its final form, it should work with the normal subbill, and have no problems with catid's since all he adds is more commands. |

nice, very nice. This will open a whole new area for zones, seeing as how its easier to find *nix hosts with super fast connections (espically ircd hosts). than it is to find people with win machines. Asss will definatly open up more hosting. When will it be fully funtional and available for download? |

End of the next month perhaps? I hope this isn't going to be like Continuum releases _________________ 3y3 4m l33t h4x0r
