The millisecond clocks on the server and the client should run at the same speed. Each time a ping is performed, the server compares these 2 times. Ideally, the difference between them should always be the same. The server will boot players when this difference gets too extreme. It is usually caused by network spikes (fake clock jitter), but can also be caused by a faulty driver (real clock jitter). _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis! |
