Just to let you know, hosts don't really care about being sysop in a hosted zone. Really, since they are providing the service free, you have nothing to bargain with

I'm going to set up a small host on my computer when I get quieter fans. (I'm not losing sleep for providing hosting.) That'll probably be in a couple weeks.

Err in a couple weeks, sure. I'll still have to see your zone first. If it's just SVS settings with _bzw.lvl, I'm not taking it.

hey it mine host LOL and u can leave on ther server stuff and go to sleep. and NO it isnt _bzw,lvl that crap map(sry). it a very nice zone and still working on it and changing map a lil by day but ir pretty much done. i'm getting lots of ppls on it but sadly my isp cant takem all and also u got an email we can discuss, mine is sup_sup01@hotmail.com, email me for further.....( i shall tell u my zone name and all)

Click the 'email' link below my message to email me. And I'm not starting a serious host, I'm just hosting off cable. Another host to get zones off the ground like Dark Nexus.

SSI is good, but they usually require a dedicated server, so if you have to turn your computer off for something, or you like formatting your hard drive like a few other ppl I know, or I dunno...

. SSG works for what I need

As I said above, once I get quieter fans, I'm keeping my computer on all the time.

I'm gonna be running a web server on it too, so it's gonna be on no matter what.
