I'm using CSEdit to edit my ship's settings my zone (NTC Zero Evolution) but when I create them, they don't apply to my zone? What do I do to make them be the actual settings in my zone? |

1. are you saving the changes?
2. if yes, did you try to recycle the server?
3. are you sure you are editing the right cfg file? |

Once you have finished editng in CSEdit, *putfile the new settings to your zone. Be sure to keep backup copies of the old settings.
The public arena uses server.cfg to store the settings in, otherwise use arenaname.cfg. |

If you made a lot of changes you should keep a backup of your old .cfg by doing *getfile first (make sure the new settings aren't in your ctm directory or they will get overwritten!!), then just upload the new settings. But when editing (not creating) settings, do a *getfile then edit and *putfile.
As I said "public arena uses server.cfg to store the settings in, otherwise use arenaname.cfg". |
