He needs to tell them the mod/smod password, and add their name into mod.txt/smod.txt (if he has verification on).
Then all they do is type '*[mod/smod password]' and they're logged in. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

Yes. Because player passwords are only seen by the biller, but staff passwords are seen by server and (I think) biller. So, if the server never sees your player password, it can't tell if it's the right one. |

Now you see......with the last forum system, it was kinda ez for ppl to find topics that were just posted. Just scroll down a bit and u might see a subject that might relate to urs. But with this, anything new gets pushed up to top, and things get pushed down and i really think things get more confusing. I really did like the old forum better then this 1. It was more efficient. It was old...but it worked, and less newbie zone questions were asked.
Not many ppl are going to put in the same effort with this forum. Nor does it really tell u to check out FAQ before posting. (where almost every answer is)

If I stated to check the FAQ before posting, those that wouldn't read the FAQ in the first place wouldn't read it then.
For the double-postings of almost the same question: Both forums had it. Sometimes you can go weeks without the same questions being asked that are alike, but then you get a surge of new people that need help, so it creates a trend. When about the same questions are being asked, it usually means that a friend showed a friend their new zone, which means the other friend is creating their own new zone.
It comes and goes. Both forums have it. Just human nature. |

Actually, no. The only time it did get annoying was when I helped people 100% via emails, when I got the same questions daily, very often. So thats when I tried to go more towards the forums, as it does force some people to review their questions before posting.
You'd be surprised how many people get answers via other people's posts than via reading the FAQ. FAQs are only for those that know what they are doing. |

I dunno I found the FAQs very specific in certain situations, but didn't have much in the broad server stuff. (No offence, of course.) That's why I started asking questions on this board, but hey now I'm answering them, so I guess I made up for it. |

| The Zone is called SSDM G-Force. I just got the SSDM server to host my zone but it's ot on all the time. Doesn't that server keep the zones on all the time? |
