I suggest you use esc-c to access the settings too
But yeah, you should be able to do *commands as well, like *super
If not, then you're not sysop Make sure you enter the password, either ingame (*sysoppassword), or directly in your profile:
yourpassword*sysoppassword
(Make sure to make a copy of your profile for that though, because you won't be able to log in other zones with that sysop password in your password)
And you'd need to be on sysop.txt as well.
However, there is a way that non-staff who are set as Owner in an arena's settings can change the settings, and I think that's what you were trying to do:
In the arena cfg:
[Owner]
UserId=62563189
Name=Samapico
You HAVE to put the UserId there. To know your userID, simply type ?userID ingame. If you're in your own local zone, there's a good chance it will be 0 or 1. But in SSC zones, it will be different. The server does not care what Name= is set to, it only checks userId. The Name value only shows up when you do ?owner, and you can put anything there.
But again, if that's your own local zone, I suggest you set yourself as sysop. _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |

Nothing harmful can be done if you give out your userid. |
