Ok... finally got around to making a decent custom shipset for one of my arenas. I already have a custom ship1.png and a wbroll.bm2 for it.

The custom ship only appears if there is a ship1 image placed directly in the continuum graphics folder... is there any way to bypass this?

Although I doubt there could be anything wrong with the lvz itself (being that it only lists files) it can be found here

Not sure if it's related to the file name. Try converting the png file to bmp and naming it ship1.bm2.

I should have mentioned I had already tried that...

From all that I've done only fix was to actually have a ship1 in the continuum/graphics folder icon_cry.gif

DebuildLevel: "Cannot read from corrupted datafile." It got ship1.png, but not the roll.

Looks nice though.

Thanks for reading biggrin.gif

Did you try putting the image in the arenas folder? zones/<zone name>/<arena name>/ship1.png

Lol. Sure... seems to have something against me and pngs. I have to rename a lot of files from png to some other name before I can get it to work...

Currently they are under .bm2 (I said I tried it before and I did, found out the image had corrupted or some other shit...)

so you have png's renamed to bm2's in your zone folder?

and there are no other ship images specified in the arena, right?

Correct. At the time I placed the problem these were the only extra graphics included

Ship1.png
Ship2.png
wbroll.png
jvroll.png

And yes, apparently rolling graphics MUST be bm2's (or atleast not pngs for the extension)

included meaning what? Those were in .lvz in your misc:levelfiles? or just in your zone folder?
