i have a problem with the zone that i made...........i did finish the setting and stuff........but when i try to connect it on the game....my zone is offline and the name is red

my zone just wont connect...

Can any1 here help me with this problem???

No, I've been running subgame2 off my computer for about a month now. What's your zone's name? Does the subgame2 window show any type of error? If not, please post the [misc] section of your server.ini here.

somtimes the subgame2.exe msays slow somtin: # ms or somthin like that

You don't NEED one, most people probably wouldn't even want one, because you get in trouble if you cheat.

Try setting ServerIP to the correct IP address. I haven't verified that "localhost" works, but from what I've seen here on this board it seems to...

You can try and get your IP address by running "winipcfg".

Right click on zones in the client and see what other people are using as their port number. Something over 1000 and ending with 000 is probably ok.

Are you running billing server on your own computer?

About the router thing:
If you use Win9x/ME: run 'winipcfg'
If you use NT/2000/XP: run 'ipconfig'
These should tell you your ip address. If it is 192.168.1.something, you're behind a router.

i have just recently switched my isp to comcast and it has not effected anything when i try and run my zone...it is still smooth...etc...so there must be sometin else wrong wit *got answers*
