I have a text book ordered for a class, but it's slow as hell coming in. So, I need a fast option for now. Is there a torrent site that I can download a copy of the pdf to use until my book gets in? I've been poking around on google all afternoon and it seems that if I want to download anything from the old haunts I have to buy time on their servers. >< I just need a free ebook to use for now.

In USA where these forums are based linking to torrents IS ILLEGAL (if you do not have permission to distribute said torrent)

sometimes you can find indivudal chapters of books or entire books online. Schools pay for package deals with certain publishers to get that privilege. If your library has email or chat system you should ask them. You could also buy it from the bookstore and return it 2 weeks later (check return policy before buying).

They don't I had tried that already. My school is pretty gay about it, the thing is they actually have copies of the book put into print for them. They add chapters and notes, but nothing you can't get in the class on your own.[/list]

Been busy and have not checked here in a while. It looks like someone specifically modified their bot to hit this site, so I'm doing some fixes now.
