three questions about ddirserv .4:
where do the directories store their passwords/hashes?
in the registry?
if so, where?
i found it was crashing for no reason occasionally over time, and couldnt find out why.
it seems that it crashes immediately after displaying this line:
Adding : SSCA Chaos/League TestZone ASSS
only for that zone, no others.
i find it interesting that it has 31 chars, is the buf 30?
or is that asss zone sending malformed packets or something?
priitks dir has ban capabilities, is it possible to do that with ddirserv .4? _________________ SSC Distension Owner

it stores the passwords in memory.
its also pretty buggy and randomly crashes alot...
basically it sucks snrrrub released a new dir server...but ive been unable to get it to run on my system as its linked with libaries that arnt aviable and it doesnt recomplile either... _________________ Rediscover online gaming. Get Subspace | STF The future...prehaps |

if thats true, why am i getting 'bad password' messages even after restarting the directory?
are there other distributed directory servers?
