Server Help

Okay, so the Client is set. I will, without any major delays, have my Client in a few months. Now onto the next step. While the client is being built I am looking at the Server-side of it. What I'll need to handle the load, or future loads of the client.

Will it be cheaper to build the server myself, or outsource it to a third party? Who could I contact proffesionally that can handle such? How much would I expect to pay for a month or year?
