You can make the save interval less. The more often you save, the more information you may not miss. Try looking in subbill.ini and see if you see an interval like that.

Code: Show/Hide

// Save .DAT files every X milliseconds

PeriodicSave=1800000

So here is how it works.
Seconds * 1000 = number of milliseconds before it saves.
So 180 (3 minutes) * 1000 = 180000

That is if you want to save every 3 minutes. I wouldn't try saving it in a few seconds because that could cause issues.

Every 3 minutes should work perfectly fine.

Copy and paste this over your old one:
Code: Show/Hide

PeriodicSave=180000

If you're using subbill you might want to try switching to different biller.

Oh, by the way, I used SSBilling2 and had the same issue. Any time I turned the biller off for any reason, accident or not, and also regardless of the save interval or the time in between shutoffs, I lost all data.

I had this same issue a long time ago and it turned out that I didn't have my biller ip set to localhost. So give that a try and see if it works.

Also the biller did say it was saving the info but didn't. This was with catid's biller but i'd think ssb2 is the same.

BTW the search feature is on the site for a reason, thats how I found the answer icon_wink.gif

Lol, seriously? I wouldn't have thought that would've made a bit of difference. Do you have any idea why?

Not real sure why it did that. Might be something with the settings in the biller itself. Maybe MGB or someone will have a insight into it. I just know thats why it wouldn't save.

Subgame and Subbill were both programmed where the source of the connection makes a big difference. Why they did that, I'm not sure. But specific things need to be from different IP sources, and having them overlap causes problems. Even if the overlap is the software thinking the connecting application is itself for some weird reason.

Hmm, I don't know if this is relevant, but the Public Biller that I administrate seems to crash/restart every few days or something.
