Just a little while ago, a friend of mine sent in his zone, I changed the port settings and the IP so it connects to biller. It connects to the biller fine but when someone tries to access it is says they don't have permission. The permission mode is at 0 and I cannot find any settings wrong. But if my friend was to run the zone on the same settings on his pc it works fine. Please help. |

Some billers you have to login into from a zone on the network and add the new zone in... or allow it to use the biller so to speak... I believe its on sos's biller and catid's. As for subbill I dont know. On them 2 you type ?man and there should be something like ?addzone which with ?man addzone will tell you how to do it. Thats the only thing I can think of that might cuase this problem |

What's sos's biller?
Anyways, first, make sure that the "SCOREID" are not the same. They have to be different, and the ports of the two zones need to be different. _________________ SSE Network Administrator |

The ?addzone command didn't work so far I logged in as sysop on the working zone and type "?addzone 3000:********" (where ******** is biller password). But nothing happened and I checked the "?man addzone" and the syntax is correct. And yes, all of the ports, scoreids, everything related to those are different than the other zone and all of the biller settings are ok. |

Two things:
Did you login as BanG level 1 or higher?
Also, post here what subbill.exe and subgame.exe give you when you start up the second zone. |

Ok, the ?addzone thing works now and the zone is registered, but nobody can get in it still Also, in ssbilling2.exe it says a connection request from the zone and docking was granted. There are no errors in subgame2.exe apart from players requesting connection and leaving since they can't get in I also compared my server.ini settings with the second server.ini and I can't find any difference relating to permissions of entering the zone. |

Make sure that the windows firewall isn't blocking it.
And if you are using a router, make sure that the port for the second zone is forwarded |

I opened up the port in the Windows Firewall and the router allows all incoming connections as it has been doing all of the time. Still preventing access unless there is another firewall possibly blocking it as well, I'll check on that but so far not working |

Your router might have a firewall blocking it.
Also, when forwarding ports, it's "Port + 1".
So say my port is 1000, I'd go to my configuration, and tell the router to forward ports 1000 - 1001 |

Nope, still not allowing people in Anything else I could try? This is really starting to drive me insane >_< The router allows the ports, the windows firewall allows the ports, there are no other firewalls and I did the ?addzone thing and only my zone is working and not my friend's one.
...*calms down*...... so..... anything else to attempt? |

Copy the [Directory] from the bottom of ther server.ini on the zone that works, and copy it to the second zone.
What does it say when you try to connect. |

you could try setting up a fresh new zone and just use all the default crap from the server.ini and see if it works... if it does then change the name and upload the new settings and all of that... just keep the server.ini and change the zone name and passwords in it. |
