Aye, some interesting notes of topic: Adobe and Macromedia used to compete w/ each other for the best product making each line known for what it has today. However, now w/ the merger, one wonders if they're going to merge their software packages; or in general how this will affect future software development...

Actually, computers are weird economics. Sometimes if giants merge, it opens up room for more... geek friendly programs to take the spotlight or even start developing.
