You openxdk does not support networking, as on the front page it says, "Networking is currently not supported."
The protocol is a nonissue since you have an open source server (ASSS) capable of handling any protocol you code for it. You don't need to use Continuum security, and attempting to reverse engineer it would be in violation of the EULA of Continuum. _________________ SubSpace Discretion: A Third Generation SubSpace Client

Which is wierd because making Continuum in the first place is a violation of the SubSpace EULA. _________________ Oldbie Server Help

Anyone have the real EULA for subspace?

| Getting back to the original post and I didnt read everything so I'm not sure if this has all be said yet. You don't just write software for xbox and expect that you are going to get it to run on the system, you need specific encryption codes. The codes are a large set of numbers much like Continuum's encryption, they are needed before xbox will even think about running any software. Xbox is a stripped down version of windows 2000 with some ball-busting security rutines to make sure that only Microsoft approved dvd games are allowed to run on the system. I explained all this to the retard who made this topic but he still insisted on posting a duplicate topic on every single SS forum he could find. It wont happen, so tell this guy to go find a corner to cry in. Linux was installed on xbox with use of some nasty windows 2000 holes, I believe some code was injected into a font that Xbox uses and the code is then run so the cd can be booted and linux installed.
