Howdy,

I dunno if this game is open source, closed, private, underground or spoonmangie, i dont care.

What i do care about, is having a port of this game to the Xbox.

It seems that no company is enforcing the boarders of this game, and thats sweet, because it allows some people with too much time on their hands to become famous in their own little world.

If you want to expand that world, then please, unite with others and get this game onto the xbox for me, you, and that dude over there who only plays games on the console!

Nothing....

Thats why i would like to see a port of SS to the xbox.

SS is a pretty basic game, you can use almost any engine/graphics as long as it can contact the game server....

So i think it would be fairly easy to port.

Maybe i am wrong, i dunno.

I would like to see someone try though.

Let me say it will never happen.

Let me explain: A Microsoft XBox SDK costs money. SS is a free and quasi-legal game. No one will invest time and money into porting a free PC game to a console for no reward.

And there is no reward because you can hardly charge money for a game that is already free, and a game that you do NOT own the rights for.

If anyone were to make money off of subspace, BDE would intervene.

If i knew how to code i would do this myself to prove (to myself, not you) that it is possible.

There are thousands and thousands of game out there that have been ported, cloned, copied and emulated...

If you think it isnt about skills, then i dont think that there is anything in this world that will make you happy.

You read other peoples works, you enjoy other peoples art, you laugh at other peoples jokes, but untill you make something for yourself and realize that creation for the sake of self fulfilment is an actuality, just keep your nose to yourself, untill you learn how to poort someones elses to your unfulfilled face.

Well,

Frankly i am supprised there isnt a port to linux already.

Considering this game is so loved, and has been around for years and has pretty much been maked as freeware.

So someone port it to linux AND port it to xbox.

(cauz i dont have linux on my xbox yet)
