When I boot up, I get this message before Windows shows up: "Cannot find a file device that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application. The Wiodows registry or SYSTEM.INI file refers to this device file but the device file no longer exits. If you deleted this file on purpose try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program. If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try uninstalling that application to replace the missing file.
C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\vshinit.vxd
Press any key to continue"
anyone know how to fix this problem? it says delete it but you cant delete something that isnt there right?

Yeah, that's what I do too.
If Windows won't work, I just remove it. |
