i noticed that the default splash screen has complete black (0,0,0) in it therefore im assuming that the transparency color is different.

what color is for transparency?

What colour do you see in the .bm2 that you don't see when cont loads?

To me it seems that 0,0,0 still remains the transparency colour for all ingame graphics. Splash screen is not ingame, right? So it might be special case...

BTW, alpha channel support for transparency is not gonna happen, is it? icon_razz.gif

The splash uses rgb(255,0,255) for transparent.

Smong, isn't the default one stuck inside a .dll? I doubt he's got it handy to look at.

It's in menures.dll and yes, solid purple is the transparent color. If you make your own, make sure you do not allow purple to anti-alias into your image, or you will have purple blur.

Note: If you modify menures.dll, Cont will not load it.
