i'm new to making zones, can anyone help me with these:
1.How do you set spawn points?
2.How do you make safety zones/change safety time?
3.I saved my map and called it SSME3, when I type in SSME3.lvl in the server.ini file the subgame2 keeps closing, how can I fix it?
Thanks |

| Well the only part i kno abot is the safty stuff. You need to enter your zone ang log in as sysop/owner and when your logged in press ESC+C and then you will enter all your files of your zone and i think the safty stuff in under misc. |

To set spawn points:
Look for the following section in server.cfg.
[Spawn]
Team0-Radius=5
Team0-X=0
Team0-Y=0
Team1-Radius=5
Team1-X=0
Team1-Y=0
Team2-Radius=5
Team2-X=0
Team2-Y=0
Team3-Radius=5
Team3-X=0
Team3-Y=0
Here, you can set the center of the spawn circle in SSME coordinates for each team and also the circle's radius, if applicable. The exact center is 512, 512. The settings are for every fourth team; i.e., Team0 settings will be applied to Freqs 0, 4, 8, 12, Team1 settings will be applied to Freqs 1, 5, 9, 13, and so on.
To set safety time, go to the [Misc] section and look for the SafetyLimit= line. Set this to the number to the number of seconds you would like the safety time to be times 100. To make a safe zone, use SSME to tile with the last tile of the next to last row.
For your subgame problem, try running your INI through this checker. _________________ NTC Shard Owner

make sure SSME3.lvl is in the same directory as the server.ini (and server)
if that doesn't work, try different names |

In server.ini:
[Misc]
DefaultLevelFile=SacredDuel.lvl
In server.cfg:
[Misc]
SafetyLimit=(safe time in s/100) _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

As you might have guessed, your server's IP address needs to go there. Just right-click on the zone in the zone list; the IP is the number with three periods in it. |

Better suggestion:
For I.P. don't put in your own, put in " localhost " it will automatically check for the server I.P. and read it as that. |

How the hell would that work? That doesn't make sense.
What is it exactly for MGB?
Does it attempt to bind to that IP? |

| He's talking about Misc:ServerIP, Donkano. If you could just use localhost for that, why would it even be a setting? Lol. |

ServerIP is used so that when you do *einfo, the server can tell you if the client is proxied. It should definitely NOT be localhost OR any internal LAN address. It should be the IP that a client would connect to--the one listed by the directory server. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis!
