 |
|
|
|
I was hoping that someone could make me a plug in for a MERV bot that warps people basicly.
So something along the line of this format....
Intial place to warp people when entering
512 512
Place to warp people when hit the above X Y
1000 1000
And unlimited number of these.
I was hoping someone can do this for me? I have no experience at all in making bots or plug ins. In fact I dont know how to at all even. |

has all the code you need for it. I'll make a plugin for it later today (since you said you don't know how to code) that loads from an .INI file (so you can just put in the rectangles and such) unless someone already made one and posts before I get around to it. |

TM BAW is exclusively for lvz objects now and spawnbot looks like it only does squares and doesn't support rectangles.
Tell me if you need rectangles... and I'll make you the plugin. |

That topic you sent me to made no sense to me at all lol
Thanks for the help. In the .ini file can you just make it so that I can also use that bot for other arenas? Like duel if I want people to warp there easily.
Instead of making a totally new dll the ini would just edit the spawn initial and end.
<3 to you all for helping |

tell me if you need rectangles or will squares do... spawnbot uses squares. I could make you one with rectangles if you need it.
You can't send players to other arenas using the current version of subgame. |

TM Baw is NOT for lvz!!!
Some1 recoded it to work with lvz.
The original by SOS is only for warping players.

Its A Messaging Bot which Messages a Player if they go inside a Rectangle.
You can make the Bot *warpto a Player instead of Messaging them.
Hope it Helps  |

Sorta... But it seems to only be able to do it with 2 boxes or something. I'm thinking more along the lines of as many as possible....
I'm going to be setting one up for my public arena. And duel arena. Public arena needs this so people can warp towards a base instead of flying there all the way |

yah, tm-baw goes from 0-255 i believe. But that many warp points will make the bot very slow. Because it will need to loop through all of that everytime someone changes position. |

Ok, this confused me a bit too but it's easy:
X1 and Y1 are the top left coordinates of the rectangle and X2 and Y2 are the bottom right coordinates. |

Ok I got that... But how do I make it warp? It seems to warp at random points. I want to warp people to specific locations that are constant.... |

With the Plug-In I mentioned in a Post somewhere Above you can use a *warpto command and that will keep the Warp Points Constant.

The plus-in can do alot more than 2 boxes. I have no-idea how many but to add more messages you copy [Message1] and just change the number:
[Message4]
X1=501
Y1=501
X2=522
Y2=522
Freq=-1
# ^------- Freq to message. -1 = any, -2 = any public, -3 = any private, 0-9999 = specific freq
EnterMessage0=*warpto 512 512
LeaveMessage0=
[Message5]
X1=505
Y1=508
X2=590
Y2=599
Freq=-1
# ^------- Freq to message. -1 = any, -2 = any public, -3 = any private, 0-9999 = specific freq
EnterMessage0=*warpto 512 512
LeaveMessage0=
[Message6]
X1=413
Y1=567
X2=455
Y2=478
Freq=-1
# ^------- Freq to message. -1 = any, -2 = any public, -3 = any private, 0-9999 = specific freq
EnterMessage0=*warpto 512 512
LeaveMessage0=

Me again!
Anyways, I was wondering. With the same message bot, would it be psosible to have it plugged into two bots? One for pub and another for some other arena?
I know I'd have to change the .ini and make two of them, but what about the DLL? |

If it loads from the same file (and it looks like it does) than you may be forced to have two different cores running (like two copies of the folder with different .ini files) |
