made a server and everything is like it has to be..
It says billing server connected
but server is red on list and i cant enter it
i dont know..to i have to put the 127.0.0.1 ip or my ip 192.168.....(i have LAN) please help me

change the misc port to just 1000 instead of 1020
change the ip in billing to localhost and the misc server ip should be the ip of your comp.

Ok i did but it dosent change anything

(i rund the subgame2 and subbill again after changeing port and ip)

make sure to open subbill first then subgame2. what OS are you running?

yes i open in first and i have LAN windows 2000pro

It doesn't matter what port you use, as long as it's above 1000.

Can you quote what is displayed on both server windows?

i know it says Discent on server.ini but i started all over again and but test discent 3

well i dont know how to get it off the list to restart it

I am having a similar problem to guest, everything goes well until I actually try to enter.

What do I put for Billing:Ip:

Localhost works best inthe billing : IP

If you're behind a firewall/router there is a good chance that is blocking certain ports you need opened to run your server.

If so try opening up the port you specified for your server to listen on + the next port.

So if you set your server to port 1000 open 1000 and 1001.

I have the same problem..

My port for my zone is 7700, and in my router settings I put 7700-7701.. but it still won't work.

dave, check to make sure Block WAN Request is disabled.
