Just wanted to report an error. I don't think it's my computer hardware because it only appears in CONT and only sometimes and not always.
_
If I enter any zone (it may be an SSC zone or a private zone or even my local zone or whatever) and server responses slow, client looses picture and my graphics card switches off the screen for a second and then I see the game again. The slower the response times with the server are (the higher the lag is) the more "blackouts" are there. So the screen is sometimes switched off and then on again. This happens only if I play CONT - not in other games or while working with Windows, so I don't believe in an hardware or driver error.
_
One time I had these "blackouts" in TW and I asked for "?help". They told me that it usually happens if many clients are connecting or disconnecting. But it even happens if I am the only player in a zone. |

Sounds like a driver issue to me.

Looks like client-side error. My display doesn't fully switch off but off and on again. Sometimes it happens very often, sometimes it never happens but in the last days the mistake appeared less and less. One time as I was playing CONT they told me about a kind of database reset, which could cause this problem. But since it also happens on my local server, I don't believe in that any more. |

It's obviously client-side. The mods in TW were either idiots or didn't understand your question. There's no way a server can change your display like that. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content.
