Anyone have A background (dirt) image I Can use For ghost-recon (soon SSA Ghost-Recon),..and dragon paw (player) told Me I Had To save The Background if I get One In graphics (eg :c/program files/continuum/Graphics) folder, then write The name Of It In The server.cfg file under <misc> level files,But it has No "Level Files" So Do I add It? If So Were? also, for shipsets I made A new subject In <MISC> called levelfiles.I tried saving The ship in "Level Files" (eg levelfiles=ship1.gif) And It didn`t work, Is What he Said A lie? Or Am I Doing something wrong?  |

These three are "alright", but I suggest you make one yourself using Adobe Photoshop 7 or PSP 7.

don't listen to anything that person tells you ever again 
when you find an appropriate image, you will need to build it into a .lvz file and do some other things
if there is no setting "levelfiles=" in the [misc] section of the .cfg (settings) file of the arena you'd like this background image to be used in - you will, eventually, need to add the setting

well, for it to work that way, you would have had to upload the file "ship1.gif" to the server ("*putfile ship1.gif" in-game if you are a sysop ["ship1.gif" must be in your main Continuum directory (eg. C:\Program Files\Continuum)])
...but, it's a much better idea to use .lvz files to replace graphics
(of course for ship images only it IS a good idea to use "misc:levelfiles=ships.bm2" - the .bm2 is important, but you should be able to use .bmp, .gif, .jpg or .png and just rename the extension)
(use "misc:levelfiles=shipinfo.dat" for shipinfo.dat, too [barring bugs I haven't bothered to note yet])
just separate multiple .lvz files with commas (eg. "levelfiles=blah.lvz,blah2.lvz,blah3.lvz")
anyways, head on over to this old post for instructions on how to setup a background image using .lvz
you don't have to use .jpg, of course, that's just what that guy wanted |
