Ok, I seriously cannot find a way to get my server up and running. I know that it's been posted on the shanky site FAQ section and it has been posted countless times on the forum, but I still cannot get this crap to work.

Every time I try to join my server, it always says "Connection request from Billing Server Ignored". Now, on the website's FAQ section it says:

"To get it to work put "localhost" in the Billing Section and not 127.0.0.1
In the favorites.lst make sure that you use 127.0.0.1 there and not the same as In the Billing Section, they need to be different."

Now, I have no clue, what the heck that means. It says to put localhost in the billing section... What the heck does that mean.... And whats this about editing the favorites.lst file??? It won't even open for me....

So can someone with some server experience please help me out?

NEVER MIND!!!

I just figured it out.... Now I understand what they mean by putting localhost in the file, yet putting 127.0.0.1 when you add the server to the custom list. Sorry about that.

Uhhh, now for my next question.... How do I make this server public? Or is it already public?

If there is nothing blocking the ports your server uses then its already public.
Nonetheless, you can make it non-public by setting AllowNewUsers=0 in your subbil.ini.

You can also make it private by disabling its directory entry. To do that, erase all the data in Directory:IP.
