Hey, I have been hearing about ASSS a lot, so I found a link and downloaded it. I noticed its got a "bin" and some other folders and files that leads me in one direction, this is ran on a website/server on a host that has support for CGI-Bin and MySQL?
Can someone tell me if I am correct or not, this is sort of confusing. I am the kinda guy thats good with computers, but programs where I cannot find an executable confuse me. I searched through the Docs (documents) and they are basically talking to people who know distinctively what this is.
I'd like to try out ASSS because it sounds a lot better than Subgame, I can also tell the versitility ASSS allows you to go with modules and etc.
Thanks,

ASSS isn't ready for the general public yet. It was released so others (programmers) can get a fell for what it can/will do, and to understand how to work with it. |

Why do you say that? I think it's just about ready for the "public". What's missing?
Anyway, the problem the original poster was having was that there are no _windows_ executables. Unfortunately, there's nothing much I can do about that. At least it's ready-to-run on linux. |

linblows
Any no, it doesn't run or a webhost with cgi-bin support. It runs on any linblows computer or windows computer, if you get the win version somewhere.
MySQL was also required, I think, yes. _________________ 3y3 4m l33t h4x0r

"bin" just means binaries/executables and if you don't use the database modules I don't think you need MySQL. |
