Ill be running a SubGame on a system with 2 public IP addresses and one Private IP. I dont recall seeing anything in the server.ini that would specify which IP address the SubGame should report to the DirServers. Any ideas on this/past experience? Thanks. |

I would imagine that it will use the default address (no clue as to which one is default). ASSS doesnt have this problem, as it lets you specify which IP to bind to.
I used to have 2 ethernet cards, and it would always change which was the default; it drove me nuts. Linux doesn't have this prob... _________________ Hyperspace Owner

All well and fine but ASSS is not quite ready for a production zone. Anyone have any idea how to prioritize which nic SubGame will bind to? Some of the SubGames need to run on one ip, and some need to run on the other, and none of them obviously can report the local. Any help appreciated. Thanks for the info Brain. |

You could probably get all to go to one, but I think it's impossible at the moment with subgame2 to get some to go to one and some to another. |
