Trying to find a forum instant messenger mod for IPBv 2.2.2, kinda directing this question towards MGB, but maybe someone else knows of one. And if you are confuesed, what i mean for forum instant messaging, is just like your usual AIM/ICQ/MSN, where you can see whos online, message them, ect. If not, then would it be hard/possible to code one? Thanks in advanced.

You mean like... private messages? It already says under your name whether you're online or not. We already have this functionality.

Don't we have the game for this? I'd be online on it 24/7 I guess, but I doubt MGB would ever want to implement such things.

I'm not trying to make Server Help a universal site. It is here to help people setup their zones, ask questions that they have, and be a resource for them to learn. Thats why I try to keep most client-related questions somewhere else, as the ones that have questions about clients are generally a whole different group than those with questions about the servers.

Look at the online list on the front page. Rarely do I see more than three at a time. Why bother recreating an instant messaging application when the information shared on it won't be public, and is already created by tons of IM programs. If someone would like help in realtime, they can setup times that they are available to work with them in game (like I used to do back in the 20th century) or they can list their IM accounts in their profile in which anyone can send them messages that way.

I have never touched Invision Power Board, so I can't help you more than just a google search.
