yey more problems
[Arena]
ArenaMaxPlayers=40
ArenaDesiredPlayers=25
ArenaMinimumPlayers=1
SpawnKeepScores=1
MaxArenas=100
MaxArenasMemory=32000
Current arena settings. Here's the problem:
what would cause a zone to like..not have any arenas but the pub work? People type ?go blah and it just takes them back to pub. And when the pub fills up, it doesn't bring people to another pub so they can't play since the game is full.
The zone is currently running subgame13A. |

Is [custome] ArenaMode set to 0 or 5? (set it to the other thing and try again )
Could be the subgame. |

Try increasing MaxArenasMemory. It maybe because your public arenas require so much memory allocated for it that it cannot support another private arena. |

Well I had thought about it, given the default is 64000, but from my understanding it is marginally used.
Can a zone really suck up over 32MB ram? |

I believe because of continuum, it keeps the LVZ loaded into memory for each arena. It already keeped the lvl and the compressed lvl data in memory. If its a super-zone, it will suck up even more memory, with mass weapons, mass flags, balls, etc. Without being able to take a look at the zone's settings/map/lvz, its hard to say.
Do an output of *stat, or Task Manager's displaying of the memory the program is currently using. |

Isn't there a setting in server.cfg where you set if players can create new arenas? Perhaps it's set to 0 _________________ Expect the worst but hope for the best. |
