being the "n00b" people older than VIE dirt love to remind me I am, i was wondering if there was ever a zone with settings mimicking (and well) actual flight, ie wide turns, machine guns, etc. and if a copy/clone of those settings is available somewhere, please let me know

I think he wants SS to be like flight simulator. Since the physics designed for SS is for space, where there is no friction, you cannoy be able to simulate flying in the air, and doing wide turns, without fucking over the gameplay horribly.

You would have to do what GW/Midway does with the rockets otherwise you could end up with planes going sideways, backwards and even dodging/strafing.

i understand that 0 fiction = planes doing plate spins, shooting things, and surviving, but im looking for ideas i missed

quite honestly im just looking for a theme that works well around my scheme - life does not regenrate with recharge

you could have yer rocket idea n crap, also to make it more realistic..recharge rate=0 bulletfirenergy=0

and have it so that player gets locked in spec after 1 kill..make it like...you die..u dont come back, like real life...a real test of skill but might be a fuck up for some people...

have health like 5k or something, set damages accordingly

have little healthpacks n stuff dotted arounf 4 extra life..

-just an idea..which might spring more ideas..which might pring more ideas from that which in turn might psring more ideas from that..and so..the cycle of idea springing continues..until we decide it sux..and then we all bugger off and do whatever we were doing before

(usually how it goes)

You have to be careful with 0 recharge because if someone gets dc'd they can't quit.

There are ways to counteract that. Such as making safties kick after 5 seconds. This will allow you to make exit boxes on the map.

If you ever try to quit the game with low energy, and it shows that "Exiting game" in the middle of the screen, the instant you enter a safety zone, you quit. So having a 5 second safety kick is pointless. You can freely quit from a safety zone with any energy at anytime (with continuum).

Ah, continuum adds that. I originaly tried this a few years ago and never found a good way.

Nope, doen't work. With low energy, it will not exit until the energy goes over a certain level, safe zone or not.
