ROFL. I don't think you cant put a web server on a 8086. But you can on a 8286. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

No, its just our host's machine being an ass. It used to be good, but then they started to do more per machine, which is sucking ass. The user's drive is almost completely full and i doubt they ever defrag it. Their MySQL db is being access horribly by someone else they are hosting. Shanky and I maybe getting a dedicated box just for ourselves. Cost a lot more per month, but it would be just us on a single box. Maybe even a test ASSS running :)
So until then, it seems as if someone is running a loop on the server, just for the hell of it. |

Sounds cool.
Put up paypal and maybe people help you.
I would donate but I tried and paypal insists that my browser does not support cookies (yeah right, and I actually do login to this forum each time I visit too!, gg) so I can't. |

Asking for donations is almost as bad as putting up ads for a site that offers free help for a game that is free. Its very tacky.
I don't know shanky's opinion on this, but as for mine about server help, those who would donate would probably be those that visit here often enough (or ask lots of questions). So that would only be a few people, and they'd donate maybe once. So you'd end up getting close to nothing for donations. Now if you want some server space, and be willing to chip in a few bucks, thats fine with me. Just our policy for hosting other's sites is that they canNOT put any type of money-making ads on their site. If you like ugly ring things, fine. If you want to have 50 little GetSS Now images, fine. You put a doubleclick or some other crappy money making ad thing on your site, good-bye.
I think swrealm.net sends a couple of bucks or something to shanky once a year. Or maybe its his other friend that does. Anyways, i think he said someone actually chips in a bit now. |
