Hey, my parents are being stupid and running our Netowork like the following:
Modem->Belkin Router->Linksys Router->My computer
The belkin and linksys give my family wireless while I am directly connected to the router. The problem is, I need to forward ports, and I can only connect to the Linksys Router, and my family REFUSES to let me use their wirless connections to connect to the belkin router to forward ports. Please suggest a way that I can forward the Belkin ports!
(Note: I cant switch the router positions) |

Ummm why are they using two routers? There's absolutely no reason for doing that, so just convince them that they don't need to. _________________ This help is informational only. I'm pretty sure a bridge connects one LAN, to another, but I could be mistaken. I think the correct terminology would be, a switch or a hub (, because he's on the same line and also splitting the bandwidth between his wireless and router, there not two different LANs)? |
