Till just now, when I started Continuuim today I noticed all zones pings were 500+, form the usual 10-20. I am on DSL, and I noticed from the begining something was wrong.
When I entered any zone my screen was lagging. I also noticed on alt+cntl+delte when continuuim was open my CPU Usage was: 97-100%, and when I closed Continuuim it dropped down to 5-6%
Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix?

My CPU is usually 0-2%. When I run continuum and do ctrl alt del, it is very high also. So that's not really anything to worry about unless it's always high. As far as the ping goes, I had a similar problem. First try recycling power and the modem and router. If that doesn't work, see what pings you get when connected directly to the modem. If you get normal ping when connect directly to the modem, try resetting your router to default settings.
Hope that helps. :-D

While Continuum is active, it attempts to process everything as fast as it can. Thus, it doesn't wait for the next timer to attempt to update things. It will continue to process.
If you notice when playing with Window mode, when Continuum is active, your processing usage is 100% because of this. When you select another program and Continuum is not the active screen, it should drop down to whatever processing power is required to just update things and actually wait until it needs to process something new.

Can't this just be a directx or related problem? _________________

If that is checked, Continuum will use 100% active. If unchecked, Continuum will slow itself down, not trying to process everything constantly. So if you are using a notebook, keep that unchecked. If on a processor, it doesn't really matter, unless you want to save pennies a month/year.

Ok asid from the CPU issue, my pings some reason just SHOT UP.
Yesterday they were (for all SSC zones) around 10-20 ms and now today 200-500+ ms, the game inside is obviously laggy and jumpy

if i remember correctly.. that one is your ISP. that deals with lag not usage.. but maybe since its summer your processor is working too hard because its running too hot. simple and probably wrong but you never know (since i dont know what cooling system you use)
