problem when connecting to my zone

i can see my zone in the zone list. it is green. but when i try to connect to it (in continuum), it trys to connect to it i guess, but then it says that the zone might be online and so on and wants me to check if it is red or not(the zone name). that reallly drives me mad. can someone please help me?
