ok mgb i got a slight problem. i have 2 people on my ignore list and only one should be there (spyed). the other (ekted) shouldn't be there and i'm not even sure how he got on there in the first place and when i click to remove him it says that i can't. any possible fixes?

Fixed. Was a problem since phpbb was designed with the idea that all variables are auto-set to parameters in GET/POST, which I disabled a while ago since that is a huge security hole in phpbb.

mucho gracias...now i can actually read posts without be affected. the answer was way over my head even tho i run a site with phpbb (albeit small) so your explanation was well out of my reach of comprehension :-d.

Let's just say it's the reason I abandoned phpbb on my site for SMF.
