Just something the people who seek hosting should know;

That's right, SSCentral.com now not only brings you News, Downloads, Forums, and Web Hosting, but now also brings Zone Hosting.
We decided the only way to go was up, and the next step we'd take was hosting zones. The community is in big need of strong dedicated zone hosts and we have the time, money, and resources to do it. Currently the server is going to be called S2C (Stands for SSC aka SSCentral), is located in Los Angeles and will be running it's own biller for the time being. In the future SSC is very possible for any zones meeting the standards, but will not just be given away or thrown around.
Enough talk, where do I sign up?
Talk to PoLiX or SyrusMX about getting started. We aren't going to take zones fresh off the press, but would like to see the zone finished, and up and running. No you don't have to have any sort of population already, just a finished product that we can visit and look at. We're very leniant on the zones we host, but only require a few small things
Those Few Small Things
No Stolen Graphics, Settings, or Maps can be used in the zone. We don't want to see another Extreme Games or another Trench Wars, instead give us the NEXT Extreme Games or Trench Wars.
No Oversized Staffs will be even considered for hosting. No we're not trying to tell you how to staff or run your zone, but we don't want to host a zone where every player is a staff member, and you have 10 different sysops we have to deal with.
Bots must be stable and not cause any issues to the server. If your bot is buggy and crashes a lot, then your going to be hosting it yourself. I think this is obvious, but just making sure it is stated.
Ok, so I think I meet all of that
Well, if you think your zone meets all the rules and standards, then contact us. We're always available through SSForum PM or by e-mail, and will be happy to take a look and consider you for hosting. |
