I read the "Readme" and completed everything to finish a bot.
The bot did not appear, and I also read the FAQ and told me nothing.
What am I suspsoed to do after completing the steps?
Do I create an account on Continuum and login? _________________ Don't like signatures.

Make sure your Ip:port is right. No you don't have to make a account in the subspace client the bot will do it by it's self. |

I got the MervBot on thank you.
Can the MervBot be used as a remote server so that if My .exe server files aren't open it can still keep it open?
---
And the arena name for the mod in spawns is confusing.
I want it to be in public arena. should i put like 0? or 1? |

As we answered in your other thread:
A computer has to be on to do things. So to keep your Subgame server up 24/7 it has to run on a computer which is on and online 24/7.
MERVBot is a bot, a client, it connects to the server. It can't keep the server up, and it can't be used as a remote server.
The big and popular zones actually run on servers 24/7.
Some people on these forums and on some other places offer free 24/7 zone hosting with a few other services.
When your zone is ready to go online you can post in the Zone Hosting forum to request a hosting account.
Before you post there you should read the rules for zone hosting requests.
To make MERVBot initially spawn in Public (0) you use 0 as arena name. |

Ok thanks.
The only thing I got right was change arena name to 0.
Yay
So my computer knowledge is 3.0001% now!

Shut up about the computer knowledge % stuff already, it was just to compare and make a point to blah-er.
Edit: Oh well, you get what I mean. The URL was still on my clipboard. I didn't install my new keyboard's drivers on this computer yet, I guess that's the reason why Ctrl+C is bitchy.

Doesn't shutting down your computer actually wear away that chip thingy and make it so if it happens so many times the computer won't turn on? |

Heating and cooling makes anything expand and contract which will eventually wear them out. Eventually. The sun will also eventually become a red giant and envelope the Earth. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. Uhhh, Purge, that was my point.
Let me be more clear. The advantages of turning your computer on and off (saving power, less heat, less noise, etc.) far outweigh the minute damage caused by the temperature change. In fact, keeping your computer on 24/7 will probably wear out the parts faster than turning it on/off each day. |
